Duke Grinnash

This medium-height human wears his hair and pointed goatee well-oiled.

Description:
Bio:
Knowledge: Local DC 10: The Duke is harsh, but fair. Better than having to pay “Slaughterer’s Tax,” or having to live in the realms of The Mad One, I’ll say.
Knowledge: Nobility/Royalty DC 10: Grinnash is a masterful diplomat. He would have to be, for the Council to recognize him.
Knowledge: Local DC 20: The Duke’s miners are well-cared for- it’s hard to get a job in the mines, especially with the Cardinnians screwing things up,
Knowledge: Nobility/Royalty DC 20: More often than not, Grinnash has been known to make what seem like major concessions to get what he desires.
Knowledge: Local DC 30: And I suppose that that’s only fair, since he took the territory he has in Starrgarn from Koldorr and his people.
Knowledge: Nobility/Royalty DC 30: Grinnash never goes back on his word, but those that would deal with him are advised to watch the letter of the words that he gives.
Knowledge: Local DC 40: And it wasn’t like the Duke’s men came in without warning or nothing; it was a treaty of some kind. Probably one of his advisers told him that it’d be a good time to move in, since Koldorr was getting on in years, and his sons were gormless idiots…
Knowledge: Nobility/Royalty DC 40: Duke Grinnash does not surround himself with advisers, but relies on a number of talented individuals for advice, though his will is still law in his lands.
Knowledge: Local DC 45: Of course, when he came in with the soldiers, he did kill that man what tried to stop him in the blink of an eye, then carried on with his proclamationing, easy as you please. Not a man I would try to cross, myself.
